Humm...
A SonicPlay™ session for expectant mothers and newborns (0–4 months)
"A soft, continuous sound. A vibration before it becomes a word."
Humm… begins not in the voice, but in the body.
Rooted in the primal act of humming, this session draws on the resonant qualities of early vocables — sounds like mmm, ooo, the ancient Om — where breath, body and vibration come into quiet alignment. These are not songs to be performed. They are frequencies to be felt: in the chest, the skin, the wordless space between caregiver and child.
For expectant mothers, Humm… offers a moment to slow down and turn inward to listen to the subtle rhythms of the body, the womb, the growing life within. For mothers and newborns together, it becomes a shared field of resonance, where sound is experienced as closeness, as safety, as the earliest form of knowing another.
Guided by Dr Nat's SonicPlay™ approach, each session unfolds through quiet vocal explorations, simple sonic gestures and attuned presence. There is no pressure to do; only an invitation to be with sound.
To hum. To hold. To listen.
In this space, sound is not taught.
It is remembered.
